Beginner Carnatic Vocal Training

I need structured, beginner-level Carnatic vocal guidance that starts with the very foundation—mastering basic swaras and the standard voice-culture exercises. My goal is to build correct pitch, breath control, and familiarity with simple patterns before moving on to geethams or other repertoire.

Please shape each session so theory and practice go hand in hand: explain the purpose of every exercise, demonstrate it, then monitor my rendition in real time. I learn best through short, focused online classes backed by clear reference material, so recorded audio of the lessons and notated practice sheets will be essential.

Deliverables I’d like to receive:
• Live video lessons (30–45 minutes, once or twice a week)
• Audio recordings and notation of daily swara exercises
• Brief progress notes after each month outlining strengths and next steps

If you can weave in basic tala awareness while we work on the swaras, that’s a bonus. I’m ready to start right away and can adapt to most time zones as long as the schedule stays consistent.
