Bag Removal Video Cleanup

I have a short clip—somewhere between one and five minutes—where an unwanted bag sits in the frame. All I need is basic editing that cleanly removes or masks that bag so the final video looks as though it was never there.
I’m not sure of the exact resolution, but it plays perfectly on a standard computer screen, so you can advise on the best export settings once the job is done. As long as the action, timing, and audio remain untouched, I’m happy.
