Audio Traffic Noise Cleanup

I have a track that was captured near a busy street, and the traffic is creeping into every pause and softer passage. My goal is to extract my conversation with my friends from the back ground noises. The priority—voices must remain natural-sounding and clear enough to be easy to understand... It's a short, 7m35sec, recording.
You’ll start with the raw WAV (48 kHz/24-bit) and return a cleaned version in the same format. Please keep speech tone and dynamics intact; I don’t need surgical perfection, just a balanced reduction that lets the dialogue breathe without obvious artifacts. If you work in iZotope RX, Adobe Audition, Audacity with spectral tools, or an equivalent editor, feel free to apply voice-isolation, adaptive EQ, gentle compression, and any other tasteful processing that gets us there.
Deliverables:
• Final de-noised file, level-matched to –16 LUFS mono equivalent
• A brief note (one paragraph) outlining the key steps or modules you used
• Optional: a 30-second preview for quick approval before the full render
