Audible-Ready Audiobook Editing
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I have already recorded the full narration for my audiobook and now need your expertise to turn those raw takes into a polished, ACX-compliant release. The files are neatly organised by chapter but include retakes, stumbles, and extra silence that must be removed.
The raw files are between 10 and 15 hours long.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Trim errors, and tighten pacing while preserving a natural read.
• Apply tasteful equalisation only—no additional noise reduction is required.
• Master every chapter so it meets Audible/ACX specs (RMS –18 to –23 LUFS, peaks no higher than –3 dB, noise floor ≤ –60 dB).
• Deliver final mono MP3s at 192 kbps, chapter-separated, correctly named, with 0.5–1 s room tone at the head and 3–5 s at the tail.
I’ll supply the raw WAVs immediately. If you’re comfortable working in tools such as Adobe Audition, Reaper, Pro Tools, or similar and have a proven audiobook portfolio, let me know your turnaround time and any questions you have so we can get started right away.
