Project Description
I have a completed nonfiction book that has already been professionally edited and formatted for Amazon KDP. The manuscript is final and ready for publication.
I plan to publish the audiobook using Amazon Virtual Voice, and I am looking for an experienced freelancer to prepare my manuscript specifically for AI narration and ACX.
This is NOT a narration project. I am not looking for a voice actor or audio engineer. I need someone who understands how to prepare a manuscript so it works well with Amazon Virtual Voice and meets ACX requirements.
Scope of Work
Please prepare my existing manuscript for Amazon Virtual Voice by:
Reviewing the manuscript for audiobook compatibility.
Removing or revising any print-only references (page numbers, references to illustrations, charts, photographs, tables, footnotes, "see below," etc.).
Ensuring chapter titles, headings, and transitions work well for audiobook narration.
Making any formatting changes necessary so the manuscript is ready for upload to Amazon Virtual Voice/ACX.
Identifying words, names, abbreviations, acronyms, or foreign terms that may require pronunciation guidance.
Preserving my writing style while making only those changes necessary for a smooth audiobook experience.

Listening Experience Review
Please also review the manuscript for anything that may sound awkward when read aloud by AI. If you believe a sentence, transition, or phrase would sound better when spoken, please make recommendations without changing the manuscript unless I approve the edits first. My goal is to create the best possible listening experience while preserving my voice as the author.
