Add Captions & Sync Voiceovers
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I already have three short clips fully cut and with transitions in iMovie (36 s, 35 s, and 19 s). What I still need is polished captions towards the top of the videos - they need to have a background behind them because the text contrast is not great. I also need my 3 voiceovers to be properly balanced. I also need each 9:16 video to have a 1:1 square version for Meta that is 1440 x 1440 px.
Captions
• Style: clean sans-serif, positioned at the top.
• Background: I’m flexible—solid bar or a translucent overlay is fine as long as the text is legible and stable (not moving around etc)
• Timing: I have examples of the captions without background/overlay that shows the desired timing and caption text (note: captions are different than the voiceovers)
Voiceovers
I’ll send you the three Garageband voiceover files. They are a touch quieter in spots, so they just need gentle volume leveling—no heavy noise reduction or EQ work. Please start each track about one second into its video and fade it out roughly 1-2 seconds before the end so nothing sounds clipped.
Final delivery
• Six 1080p (same resolution as originals) MP4 files with baked-in captions and leveled audio.
• Separate SRT files matching the on-screen captions.
• Turnaround within a few hours would be ideal since total runtime is only 90 seconds.
