ASAP Documentary Video Editing
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I have several long-form documentary recordings ready for post-production and I need an experienced video editor who can turn them into a polished, informative, and educational final cut as soon as possible. Raw footage is already organised in folders; you’ll receive multi-camera interview angles, b-roll, archival stills, reference scripts, and separate audio tracks.
What I’m after
• A cohesive documentary that keeps viewers engaged for the full runtime (each piece runs 30-45 minutes).
• Clean narrative flow: trim dead space, tighten pacing, and insert cutaways where needed.
• Professional colour correction, basic grading, and audio sweetening to broadcast standard.
• Lower-thirds, title cards, and end credits styled to match the project’s branding.
• Final delivery in 4K ProRes and a 1080p H.264 web version, plus all project files neatly organised.
Because the tone must feel informative and educational, every edit should prioritise clarity and logical progression—graphics, captions, and any motion design must support that goal rather than distract from it. I’m open to whatever documentary style (narrative-driven, interview-based, observational) best serves the footage, so feel free to suggest creative approaches once you have seen the material.
Timeline
I need a first rough cut within days of you receiving the files and a locked picture shortly after. Please outline how quickly you can start and the milestones you propose for rough, fine, and final cuts.
Tools
Ideally you’re fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, with Audition/Fairlight or similar for audio polish, but I’m flexible as long as the output meets spec.
Send over links to comparable long-form edits you’ve handled, briefly note your workflow, and tell me your availability. Let’s get this project wrapped up fast and done right.
