Immigration Attorney Needed for Contract-Based Legal Work
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
Roife Law Group is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney for contract-based work to assist with a variety of immigration matters. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented attorney who can provide high-quality legal support on an as-needed basis.
This position is ideal for an attorney who has strong immigration law experience, excellent legal writing skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities May Include:
Drafting and reviewing immigration forms, declarations, affidavits, legal memoranda, motions, briefs, and supporting evidence packets
Assisting with family-based immigration matters, adjustment of status, consular processing, waivers, asylum, removal defense, U visas, VAWA, TPS, naturalization, and other immigration-related filings
Reviewing client documents and identifying evidentiary gaps
Preparing legal arguments and case strategy recommendations
Assisting with responses to RFEs, NOIDs, NOIRs, and other USCIS or immigration court notices
Conducting legal research on immigration law issues
Helping prepare clients for USCIS interviews, immigration court hearings, or other immigration-related proceedings
Providing attorney-level review of filings before submission
Preferred Qualifications:
Licensed attorney in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Strong experience in U.S. immigration law
Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Experience with USCIS, EOIR, consular processing, and removal defense preferred
Bilingual Spanish ability is strongly preferred but not required
Experience using immigration case management systems such as Docketwise is a plus
Work Arrangement:
Remote contract work
Project-based or hourly arrangement depending on experience and scope of work
Flexible schedule, but deadlines must be met consistently
Potential for ongoing work for the right candidate
