Upgrade and optimization for PHP website [Expert Level only] - 27/01/2024 11:48 EST

I'm seeking a skilled "expert level" developer to revitalize custom PHP framework website that's currently operating on outdated PHP and libraries. Website handles lots of financial transactions, and have network marketing programs as well.

Work would be for 2-3 months approx, and you can get paid on milestone/hourly rate/fixed.

Here’s what I need:
- Upgrade from PHP 5.6 to latest.
- Code refactoring and optimizing.
- Rectify the existing performance bottlenecks causing timeouts and slow responses.
- upgrade 40+ libraries, including smarty, meekrodb.
- Optimization of MySQL queries, and use of store procedures (would receive support)
- Git, Jira knowledge.
- Proper testing

Key skills needed:
1. In-depth experience with PHP, including PHP 7.4+.
2. Proven track record with upgrading PHP versions on live projects.
3. Familiarity with load balancing and server mirroring (would be supported by server tech)
4. Familiarity with network marketing websites or similar would be added bonus point.
