Urgent Asterisk trouble shooting

I need an asterisk+linux+networking expert to help me urgently troubleshoot an asterisk installation. I am having trouble connecting the pabx to the SIP trunk provider. Incoming calls are landing but with a 5 seconds delay, and the SIP shows are UNREACHABLE although I can ping all the way to the ISP SIP IP that was provided. Need help fast! Its running on CENTOS 6.10 and on a private LAN.
