We’re looking for a highly skilled Asterisk professional to immediately develop a robust and scalable automated call engine.

Objective

Build a smart dialer capable of sending outbound calls to Asterisk using AMI (or another reliable solution like ARI or an HTTP-based interface).
The goal is to ensure high performance, stability, and intelligent call dispatching, preventing Asterisk overload and respecting defined limits.

The system dynamically retrieves the queue, audio, and phone number from the database before triggering the call.

Technical Requirements

Strong experience with Asterisk, especially AMI and ARI

Proficiency in Node.js (or other asynchronous programming languages)

Experience with CPS (calls per second) limits, simultaneous call control, and smart replenishment

Knowledge of queue management, load balancing, and real-time ARI monitoring

Ability to build a professional and resilient system that tracks:

Active calls via ARI/AMI

Campaign-based accounting (accountcode)

Per-campaign concurrency limits

Fair distribution across multiple campaigns

System Expectations

Respect campaign concurrency limits, replenishing gradually and intelligently

Handle global and per-trunk CPS

Be fault-tolerant, automatically adapting sending rate based on ARI feedback

Include ramp-up/backoff logic to prevent overload

Support priority settings per campaign
