About the Project
We are a UK-based construction and insurance reinstatement business building a professional, production-grade surveying and administration platform on Microsoft Power Platform.
This is not a basic Power Apps form.
This is a mobile field app + admin back end, designed to feel fast, intuitive, and polished.
If you build clunky, slow, default-styled apps, this project is not for you.

What We Are Building
1) Mobile Field Survey App (Power Apps – Canvas)
Used by surveyors on site to:
• Create and manage survey jobs
• Capture structured claim narratives
• our reference
• Site address
• Peril type
• Voice-to-text notes with GPT clean-up
• Select only the required rooms (domestic & commercial)
• Navigate quickly between rooms (no dead ends)
• Complete room-by-room surveys with assets grouped by:
• Ceiling
• Walls
• Floor
• Subfloor
• Furniture
Each item includes:
• Present Yes/No
• Quantity (where relevant)
• Expandable attributes (material, size, profile, task type, etc.)
• Exception toggle revealing a comment box for non-standard situations
Room-level flags:
• Drying required
• Asbestos removal
• Fire stopping
• Regulation upgrade
Room notes:
• Voice-to-text
• GPT-improved, insurer-ready wording

2) Admin Back End (Model-Driven App)
A clean, professional admin interface for office and management teams to:
• View and manage all jobs
• Review room data and summaries
• Lock/unlock surveys with permissions
• Re-generate survey PDFs
• Manage SharePoint photo folders
• Administer:
• Asset catalogue
• Attribute definitions
• Room mappings
• Task rules and workflows
• Monitor exceptions, risks, and incomplete surveys
This must feel like a proper admin system, not a raw Dataverse table viewer.
