Media Library & Distribution Manager

I need an experienced media-asset librarian who can keep our VOD and linear broadcast pipelines running smoothly. You will work inside our CMS and ADMS every day, making sure every video, subtitle track, ad slate, and metadata field lands in the right place, on time, and in spec.

Core responsibilities
• Ingest new programmes, commercials, and ancillary files, then enter or correct metadata so the library stays searchable.
• Schedule and dispatch finished assets to playout, live-record, and post-production workflows.
• Liaise with subtitling and dubbing vendors, track progress, and deliver fully conformed language versions.
• Run first-line quality control on incoming and outgoing files, flagging or fixing technical issues before air.
• Maintain an organised archive, migrating or restoring material as needed and documenting every move.
• Produce concise status reports for internal stakeholders and guide junior librarians when task delegation is required.

Collaboration & tools
You will be the bridge between our internal production, traffic, and engineering teams as well as external partners. Familiarity with common broadcast codecs, MXF handling, and automation tools is important; confidence in Excel or similar for bulk data entry will make daily work faster.
