Dubai Part-Time Desktop Support Engineer
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
My client’s office in Dubai needs reliable on-site desktop support two days each week under a renewable two-year contract. I’m after a mid-level engineer who can step in smoothly, keep users productive, and own the full support cycle without daily supervision.
Core focus on-site will be:
• Troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues
• Providing software support and updates
• Network maintenance and support
A background that includes CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Client and Cisco Certified Technician will help you hit the ground running; if you are actively working toward any of these, let me know.
You’ll work as an IT Desktop support Engineer at the client's office, and you will work on a fixed schedule (Mondays and Wednesdays), close trouble tickets the same day whenever possible, document fixes in our service desk, and flag recurring problems with clear recommendations. A brief status summary after each visit and a clean asset / incident log at month end are the only formal deliverables—I value practical results over paperwork.
If you have solid hands-on experience, communicate clearly with both users and remote teams, and can commit to the two-day schedule for the long haul, I’d like to hear how you can keep this site running smoothly.
