Business Analyst – Asset Management

Position Description (U.S Work Support)
The Business Analyst will collaborate with business and technology teams to design, implement, and maintain technology and process solutions. The role involves leading business and functional requirement gathering, workflow and data flow analysis, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The analyst will support initiatives from ideation to implementation, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical execution.
Primary Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with business partners and technical teams through strong questioning, listening, and analytical skills.
Conduct interviews with stakeholders to identify and articulate business needs, challenges, and opportunities.
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, including workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, data mapping, and UI wireframes.
Develop and maintain current and future state process documentation.
Prepare training materials and assist in user adoption efforts.
Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions.
Support development teams and product owners in implementing enhancements to business-facing applications.
Create and execute test cases, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure production readiness.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
8–10 years of experience in business analysis.
Proven experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and workflow design.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to guide teams to achieve measurable results.
Expertise in Agile, Lean, or Kanban software development methodologies.
Proficiency in documentation and analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Visio, Balsamiq, Jira, and Tableau.
Strong domain knowledge in finance and asset management.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent time management and multitasking skills across multiple projects.
