Background:
Scrabble is a classic word game that has been enjoyed by millions of people around the world
for decades. The game involves players using letter tiles to create words on a game board, with
each tile having a point value based on its rarity and difficulty of use. Scrabble is a game that
requires a combination of strategy, vocabulary, and luck, making it a challenging and engaging
pastime for players of all ages.
Features:
1- Word creation: The main objective of the game is to create words using letter tiles and
place them on the game board in a way that earns maximum points. The game rewards
players for their vocabulary, spelling, and strategic placement of tiles.
2- Point system: Each letter tile has a specific point value based on its rarity and difficulty
of use. Players earn points by placing tiles on the game board to form words, with
longer and more complex words earning higher scores.
3- Tile distribution: The game has a fixed set of 100 letter tiles that are distributed among
players at the beginning of the game. The distribution of tiles is designed to ensure a fair
and balanced game, with each player having access to a variety of letters.
4- Board layout: The game board consists of a 15x15 grid with various colored squares that
offer bonuses and penalties to players. For example, certain squares double or triple the
point value of a letter or word placed on them, while others deduct points or prevent a
tile from being played.
5- Multiplayer gameplay: Scrabble can be played by 2-4 players however in this project we
will be focusing on two players and the one with the highest score will win.
