I'm seeking a skilled RISC-V assembly programmer with experience in operating systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and integrate RISC-V assembly code into an operating system.
Ideal Skills:
Proficiency in RISC-V Assembly Language – Strong understanding of RISC-V architecture and experience writing and debugging assembly code.
Game of Life Algorithm Implementation – Familiarity with Conway’s Game of Life rules and experience in developing grid-based algorithms.
Memory Management in Assembly – Expertise in managing memory and registers, particularly using .equ statements, memory-mapped I/O, and RAM management.
Hardware Interfacing – Experience with interfacing assembly code with hardware components such as LEDs and 7-segment displays.
State Machine Design – Ability to implement and manage multiple states (INIT, RAND, RUN) in assembly, including state transitions based on user inputs.
Debugging and Optimization – Strong skills in debugging low-level assembly code and optimizing for performance on RISC-V processors.
Understanding of Cellular Automata – Knowledge of cellular automata and experience handling grid updates and neighbor detection algorithms.
