ESP32 Game Puck Assembly

Job ID: 40043665

Budget: $600 – $1,000 USD

ESP32 Gaming Puck - Electronics Assembly (10 Physical Units)

I need an experienced electronics assembler/engineer to build 10
interactive gaming pucks with embedded electronics. This is PHYSICAL
assembly work, not software development.

What You'll Build:
Each puck contains:
- ESP32-DevKitC-32 (38-pin, USB-C)
- MPU6050 accelerometer (I2C)
- WS2812B RGB LED ring (16 LEDs)
- MT3608 boost converter (3.3V→5V)
- TP4057 USB-C LiPo charger
- 3.7V 2000mAh LiPo battery
- Vibration motor, piezo buzzer, tactile button
- Supporting components (resistors, capacitors, transistor, diode)

Assembly Options:
You can propose either:
1. Custom PCB design + assembly (preferred if cost-effective)
2. Hand-wired assembly on perfboard/protoboard

Critical Requirements:
✓ ESP32 USB port must remain accessible (I flash firmware)
✓ TP4057 USB-C charging port must be accessible
✓ Test each unit to verify all components work
✓ Clean, reliable solder connections
✓ Provide basic assembly documentation

Enclosures:
I have detailed 3D-printable specs (95mm diameter PETG/TPU design). Can
you:
- Option A: 3D print + assemble full units (turnkey)?
- Option B: Electronics only, I handle enclosures?
- Option C: Recommend a 3D printing partner?

What I Provide:
- Complete BOM with part specs
- All components (or you can source if preferred)
- Test firmware (PlatformIO)
- Detailed enclosure CAD specs

What I Need from Your Proposal:
1. PCB vs hand-wired recommendation for 10 units
2. Cost breakdown (electronics assembly vs full turnkey)
3. Timeline estimate
4. Your experience with similar projects
5. Can you flash test firmware before delivery?
