Update and Compile Legacy ASM Program

I'm seeking a seasoned Assembly language programmer to assist in enhancing our long-standing ASM program. This program has served us well for 20 years with some minor updates along the way, but we need to introduce some additional features. The program is used aboard a circuit board for our agricultural tool for dispensing granular materials in potted plant nurseries, the basic updates required will enhance the interface between the Applicator and a pot plant moving robot, adding signals via an existing wired port :
1. a basic (5v 0.5 second) output signal to confirm completion of dosage.
2. being able to remotely turn the unit on with an external input signal (5v 2.0 second or similar)

Key Responsibilities:
- Compile the existing ASM program to confirm compiling stability, and to identify and rectify any errors.
- Implement minor functional updates, as described above.
- Conduct a final compilation post updates.
- Completion within 3 - 5 days, ideally by 15th January

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in Assembly language with extensive programming experience.
- Competent in debugging and error correction.
- Skilled in implementing new features and functionality in legacy code.
- Familiarity with extended computational functions.

Payment will be made upon successful testing of the final compilation.
