Coffee Plant Process Engineering Support

Job ID: 40524490

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

Our in-house team is advancing a new coffee-processing facility and I need a seasoned process engineer who can jump straight into both the Front-End Engineering Design and the subsequent Detailed Engineering Design. The scope is focused purely on process engineering; mechanical, civil, and electrical disciplines are covered elsewhere, so your effort will stay centred on flows, balances, equipment sizing, and optimisation of coffee handling, roasting, extraction, and drying operations.

I already have preliminary data and a draft design basis. Over the next four to eight weeks I want to convert that into a complete FEED package, then roll seamlessly into DED to lock down all process documents for procurement. You will collaborate remotely with my core engineering group, joining regular progress calls and updating our shared models in Aspen, AutoCAD P&ID, and Excel.

Key deliverables within the one-month window include:
• Updated process flow diagrams and mass/energy balances
• Preliminary then final equipment sizing calculations and data sheets
• Utility consumption summary and tie-in requirements
• Draft, then issued-for-approval P&IDs with full line lists
• Process description and design basis refinement

Send a concise note outlining your direct experience with coffee or comparable food-process plants and highlight projects where you carried a design from FEED into DED under tight deadlines. That practical, hands-on experience will be the main deciding factor.
