I am looking for a skilled freelancer to upgrade my ASP.NET Core 2.2 application to ASP.NET Core 4, including but not limited to upgrading all thing that need to be upgraded and ensuring that after upgrade the application should run smoothly without errors on my laptop. The successful Freelancer will possess expertise in a range of technologies, including .NET, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Microsoft SQL Server, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, and JavaScript.
Responsibilities:
The freelancer will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Project Assessment:
• Analyze the existing ASP.NET Core 2.2 application and its architecture.
• Identify dependencies, third-party libraries, and external services that may require updates.
2. Upgrade to ASP.NET Core 4:
• Migrate the ASP.NET Core 2.2 application to ASP.NET Core 4 while ensuring code compatibility.
• Update NuGet packages, references, and dependencies to their latest compatible versions.
• Address any breaking changes introduced in ASP.NET Core 4.
3. Database Migration:
• Ensure the Microsoft SQL Server database schema is compatible with ASP.NET Core 4.
• Update Entity Framework Core (EF Core) if necessary.
• Perform database schema migrations to align with the updated application.
4. Error Resolution:
• Identify and resolve any compilation errors, runtime errors, or exceptions.
• Update deprecated APIs and libraries to maintain functionality.
5. Testing and Debugging:
• Thoroughly test the upgraded application on a local development environment to ensure it runs without issues.
• Debug and fix any issues that arise during testing.
6. Front-end Compatibility:
• Verify that HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, and JavaScript components are compatible with ASP.NET Core 4.

Remote Access:

NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement):
The freelancer will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before commencing work on the project. Under the NDA, the freelancer will be legally bound to keep all project-related information confidential and not disclose any sensitive information to third parties.
Restrictions:
Coping (copying) anything from the laptop and uploading anything to the laptop will be strictly prohibited. Any breach of this restriction will be considered a violation of the NDA and may result in legal action.
