VB.NET Developer for Pet Grooming System

We are a start-up company working on the development of an advanced pet grooming and boarding management system, PetRelm. This system will help streamline operations and improve the customer experience in pet grooming and boarding businesses. As we are starting from scratch, we need a talented VB.NET Developer to join our team and help build this important platform from the ground up.
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, making it ideal for those looking for a more adaptable work schedule. We offer performance-based increases, meaning the more work you complete efficiently, the more opportunities you'll have for pay raises as we grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a scalable ASP.NET Core application using VB.NET.
Utilize Syncfusion CSS Library for styling the application.
Work with relational databases, write optimized SQL queries, and integrate them with the application.
Design and implement user interfaces using HTML and CSS.
Collaborate with the development team to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Write clean, maintainable code and assist with code reviews.
Required Skills:
VB.NET and ASP.NET Core experience (knowledge of VB.NET specifically is crucial).
Strong understanding of SQL, including the ability to write efficient queries.
Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with a focus on responsive design.
Experience working with the Syncfusion CSS Library (or similar libraries) is a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working on large-scale applications (200+ pages).
Familiarity with ASP.NET Web Forms and ASPX.
Understanding of JavaScript and any front-end frameworks.
Education:
