Investigate ASP.NET/Azure File Deletion Issue

I'm experiencing an issue with some of our customer uploaded files on our server. Specifically, Word and PDF files that are less than 1 MB in size have been disappearing from the server. The issue started occurring 1-4 weeks ago.
I need someone who is proficient with ASP.NET and Azure Cloud to help me investigate this problem. Your primary responsibilities would be to diagnose the issue, find out why these files are being deleted, and propose a solution.
