Identity Microservice using Identity Server and ASP.NET Core identity.

We have requirements to integrate with Service providers who are using different types of SSO implementation, mostly SAML 2.0 and some of them are OpenID Connect.
Our current web application is build using ASP.NET MVC using custom form authentication to login to app and pulling data from a ASP.NET Web API project by using basic authentication. SSO will be integrated in different portals like admin, customer etc. and any other new web app which we build in future.
What we want to achieve is as below:
Ability to act as IDP integrate with external service provider (SP) using SSO provider who are using SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect.
Seamless experience in SSO integration which means if user login to our system they never need to provide any kind of credentials or authentication with external service providers.
Authentication and Authorization of existing ASP.NET MVC Web app and API microservices using OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0.
Ability to act as a service provider (SP) for external system which will arise in future when they wants to integrate our tech in their using SSO.
To implementation OAuth 2.0 workflow to secure our API for external use.
We have looked into many open source solution and believe that Identity server suits our needs best but we are open to suggestion for something better.
