ERP-Linked Web Portal Build -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are looking for an experienced developer to build a web-based portal that connects directly to our ERP system running on Microsoft SQL Server.
Scope:
* Order listing and tracking
* Stock management views
* Customer account (balance / transactions)
* Basic reporting dashboards
CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* There is NO existing API.
* The developer must directly work with the ERP database (MSSQL) and design the required data access layer.
* Ability to understand complex ERP database schemas is mandatory.
* If necessary, the developer should design and implement a custom API layer from scratch.
TECHNICAL EXPECTATIONS:
* Strong experience with MSSQL (queries, JOINs, indexing, performance optimization)
* Experience with ERP database structures
* Ability to write clean, scalable backend architecture
* Experience with ASP.NET, .NET Core, or PHP (open to stack suggestions)
PREFERRED:
* Previous ERP integration projects (must be explained clearly)
* Experience building secure data access layers on top of legacy systems
IMPORTANT:
* Generic / copy-paste / low-effort proposals will be ignored.
* Please do not apply if you do not have real experience with ERP and SQL-based integrations.
* Only candidates who follow the instructions below will be considered.
WHEN APPLYING, YOU MUST INCLUDE:
1. A real example of an ERP + SQL integration you have worked on (brief but specific)
2. A sample SQL query using at least one JOIN (realistic example, not trivial)
3. Brief explanation of how you would approach performance optimization in large ERP databases
Proposals missing any of the above will be automatically rejected.
Shortlisted candidates will receive detailed project documentation.
