Full-Stack ASP.NET Developer Needed — Modify Existing Business Insights Web App (MVC, SQL, Charts)
Budget: ₹5,000 – ₹15,000 INR
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer (ASP.NET MVC + MS SQL + JavaScript) to modify and enhance our existing application.
The platform provides business & financial insights to users, and we need updates on both backend logic and frontend UI.
Scope of Work
1. Create 2–3 New Views/Pages
Includes a new landing page (wireframes provided).
One of the new pages requires building a new model using formulas currently defined in Excel.
Pages must pull data from existing SQL tables + admin panel inputs.
2. Minor Frontend UI/UX Adjustments
Adjust box/ribbon shape & size.
Improve popup styles.
Maintain same overall layout structure as existing application.
3. Replace Highcharts With Open-Source Charts
Replace current Highcharts graphs with open-source libraries such as:
Chart.js (preferred)
D3.js
Charts required: simple line and bar charts with the same behavior/interaction as existing ones.
Tech Stack Requirements
Backend
ASP.NET MVC (C#)
MS SQL (Strong SQL & stored procedure skills)
Ability to convert Excel logic → Backend model
Frontend
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
Experience replacing chart libraries
Good understanding of responsive UI
Additional Notes
The project uses MVC Framework.
You will work with the current codebase (clean and organized).
Only 1 page requires new Model creation; others reuse existing structure.
Wireframes & sample files will be shared during onboarding.
Clear formulas available in Excel (your job is to translate them into the model).
Ideal Candidate
Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC projects.
Has previously migrated from Highcharts → open-source charting.
Can read Excel formulas and implement backend logic.
Communicates clearly and delivers on time.
Deliverables
Updated pages fully integrated with SQL data.
UI improvements across existing pages.
Chart.js/D3.js replacing all Highcharts charts.
Clean, commented code ready for future enhancements.
