FoodQuest Game Localization: English–Vietnamese Translation for Food Technology Simulation Games
Project Description
Developed a game localization project focused on translating and adapting English game content into Vietnamese for food technology simulation games. The project combined expertise in Food Technology and Game Localization to ensure accurate technical terminology, natural language, and an engaging player experience.
Responsibilities included translating user interface (UI) text, gameplay instructions, dialogues, item descriptions, production processes, and food science terminology. Built a bilingual terminology glossary, maintained a Translation Memory (TM), performed linguistic quality assurance (LQA), and ensured consistency across all localized content.
This project demonstrates the ability to bridge technical knowledge in food processing with professional localization workflows while delivering culturally appropriate and player-friendly translations.
