Canvas Syllabus Updates and Time Estimates
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I manage an existing program that delivers about 250 courses through Instructure Canvas. Every course now needs two things:
1. A freshly updated syllabus entered in the Canvas “Syllabus” area, reflecting our latest policies, schedules, and grading breakdowns. This consists of taking the old syllabus, placing it into the new template, and then auditing it against the Canvas course.
2. A realistic time-on-task estimate for each assignment so students can see—inside Canvas—how long the full course should take.
I'm hiring a team of people to do this in a quick manner. You’ll be using Asana and diving straight into Master courses, so solid, hands-on experience with Canvas settings, the Syllabus tool, Assignment and Module pages, and common LTI integrations is essential. I need someone comfortable navigating between courses quickly, updating content without breaking links to publisher resources or external tools, and recording time estimates in whichever field we decide (assignment description or a custom rubric).
Scope & deliverables (to be checked off on completion):
• Syllabi updated, audited to the Canvas course, and uploaded to Asana
• Time-on-task value entered for every assignment across those courses and uploaded to Asana
• A brief handover note outlining your workflow so we can replicate it later
Because this is business-critical, speed matters: I’d like to start immediately and move through the catalogue methodically. When you respond, focus on your Canvas experience—particularly large-scale course updates or data entry projects—so I can see right away you’re the right fit.
