Youth Art Classroom Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I require a clean and attractive design for an art classroom intended for children and adults, centered around drawing and painting classes. The entire space (about 25' x 25') is being renovated. There are no sculpture classes, so no kiln.
Key aspects to consider:
- Creative storage solutions: Efficient and imaginative ways to store art supplies.
- Seating and Surfaces: Tables and chairs suitable for kids and adults, with workspaces that encourage creativity and collaboration.
- Supplies: necessary art supplies (easels, drying racks, etc.) We have supplies, but may need more.
- Flooring should be attractive and easy to clean; currently has linoleum.
Ideal freelancers will have experience in interior design for educational environments, ideally with a focus on art classrooms. Since we have art classes for both adults and children, seating and tables must be adjustable. Understanding of how light affects learning environments will be a plus.
