Digital Baby Book/Scrapbook Layout
Budget: $50 – $200 USD
I’m seeking a creative, detail-oriented freelancer to help complete a deeply meaningful digital baby book/scrapbook for my daughter—a project I’ve lovingly worked on for years but no longer have the capacity to finish alone. The goal is to digitally recreate a custom baby book that mirrors the layout and design of a physical scrapbook/baby book previously created and photographed.
This is a One-Off Project.
Project Overview:
• The digital version is being built in Mixbook, where I’ve already started the project.
You will be provided with:
• Photos of the physical scrapbook pages to use as layout references.
• A curated Google Drive folder with organized photos and files.
Additional Notes:
• The scrapbook spans from pregnancy through kindergarten and includes personal milestones, memories, and keepsakes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reference each physical scrapbook page and recreate its layout digitally in Mixbook.
• Maintain chronological order and ensure visual continuity and storytelling throughout the book.
• Collaborate closely with me to clarify image placement, layout preferences, and design choices.
• Ensure that all pages are print-ready, with attention to margins, fold areas, and bleed lines to avoid content loss in the spine or edges.
Ideal Candidate:
• Passionate about memory-keeping and design with a strong sense of layout and storytelling.
• Proficient with digital scrapbooking platforms, especially Mixbook (or willing to learn quickly).
• Comfortable accessing shared files via Google Drive.
• Highly communicative, collaborative, and respectful of working with sensitive, personal family photos.
• Detail-oriented and patient, with the understanding that this is not a rush job—it may take 1–2 weeks or longer depending on back-and-forth discussions and revisions.
Final Goal:
To bring this digital scrapbook to a near-final or print-ready state where I can either fine-tune the last few pages or confidently send it off for printing.
