WPML Multilingual E-Commerce Translator & AI Workflow Architect (Georeferenced Content Adaptation)

We are looking for a highly autonomous and intuitive freelancer to take full ownership of a multilingual content translation and localization project for our WordPress e-commerce platform. This is not a standard translation task, it requires cultural sensitivity, system thinking, and AI workflow design.

The site was 800 product pages.

You will be working directly with our WPML-powered WooCommerce site, translating and localizing content from French into multiple languages (Italian, Spanish, Portuguese) while designing a sustainable and intelligent system that automates the process, handles geo-based substitutions, and ensures culturally adapted outputs.

You will:
Translate WordPress pages, products, and metadata and notification plugins (e-mail templates) from French to Italian, Spanish, Portuguese using WPML
Replace all place names, addresses, and references with culturally equivalent local alternatives (e.g., Paris > Rome, Rue de Rivoli > Via del Corso)
Apply cultural adaptation: idioms, currencies, units, holidays, imagery
Design a translation logic loop (manual or automated) that can:
- Identify geographic and cultural markers
- Substitute them programmatically or via AI prompt logic
- Remove AI generated text fingerprints

Validate the output and reprocess if needed
Implement a semi-automated or fully automated pipeline using WPML’s built-in tools or external automation (e.g., n8n, OpenAI, DeepL, LangChain)

Some tools that may be relevant:
- WPML (Multilingual CMS license already installed)
- OpenAI / GPT-4o for prompt-based localization
- n8n (for validation loops and conditional re-prompting)
- DeepL / Google Translate (as input layers if needed)
- LangChain or spaCy (optional: NLP-enhanced reference mapping)
- Python/NodeJS

You don’t need to speak every target language — if your system produces native-quality output, that’s what we want.

Deliverables:
Full setup and localization of at least 3 language versions in WPML
Defined workflow or automation pipeline for future use
Prompt templates or translation logic documentation
Geo-reference substitution logic (manual or automated)
Deployment-ready output and review-ready translations
