AI Motion Tracking for Equestrian Sport
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 AUD
I need an experienced tech specialist in AI for motion tracking. The goal is to assess horse movement patterns, particularly for dressage quality.
Requirements:
- Analyze gait, stride, and joint movement in very high detail.
- Generate post-session analysis reports
- Identify superior horse types and measure individual movement quality objectively
Ideal Skills:
- Expertise in AI and motion tracking technology
- Background in equestrian sports or animal movement analysis (preferred)
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in developing feedback systems
We can provide data (videos and timestamped excel sheets) for reference to train the AI.
Details to focus on include:
- AI able to differentiate between different horse gaits (walk, trot, canter etc)
- AI able to detect gait abnormality (lameness) including which leg and how severe
- AI able to measure individual movements out of 10 accurately, with detailed feedback as to what was lacking or what was good, based on data obtained from previous competitions
- AI able to offer training tips for users to improve their experience

Currently looking to begin MVP which will be 10-20 processed videos for reference, which we can provide. Once MVP has been developed, more videos will be added to thoroughly train the AI and we will launch several more MVPs.
