How to make a small touch screen program to manage bins
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a small program to run on a computer with a touch screen to manage plastic bins that I use to deliver various items to clients. I send out bins to several clients every day, and then the next day when I send more bins, I pick up the bins from yesterday. But sometimes I don't get all my bins back. For example, yesterday a brought a client 10 bins and today when I delivered 10 more bins and asked for my bins from yesterday, I got back 8. It has become a big problem so I need a program to manage these bins.
Here is how I want the program to work... when I am ready to leave with the bins to deliver them to a client, I will enter a bin number using number buttons on the touch screen, and then select the client from a list of buttons with client names on them. Then I will select the office from a list of offices (buttons) for that client. Then I will start again for the next bin, and so on, until all the bins have been recorded.
For example: Today I will deliver 2 bins to client A in office 1, and 8 bins to client A but in office 2. Then tomorrow, when I deliver 10 more bins (2+8), I will pick up the empty bins.
When I get back from making my deliveries of bins, I go back to the touch screen and click the "Return" button and then enter all the bin numbers, telling the software that these bins have been returned. But if I deliver 10 bins and only get back 5 bins, that means 5 bins are missing from yesterday's deliveries. I lose many bins because of this and want to be able to bill the client for the bins they are not returning.
So every week, I want to be able to ask the software to make me a list of the missing bins for each client, so that I can give the client the list of missing bins and ask them to pay for the bins they did not return.
HERE IS MY PROBLEM:
I know I can write this program in just about any language and use a small database engine to store the data. But with all the new AI web sites that allow you to create software, I would like someone to recommend to me which AI tool I can use to make this program and then just install it on my computer and run it.
SO YOUR JOB is to find me the best AI tool that will make this program and then make me a version 1. It needs to be able to work on a Windows 10 or 11 machine with a standard touch screen. I want the database to be a free one.
Once you have made the program, and tested it on your own computer, I will need you to show me how you made it with the AI tool and then I will re-make it myself, with your help to make sure I can do it.
I do not want to have to do any programming (or a minimum), so you need to choose an AI tool that does it all (or most). I just want to be able to tell the AI what I need and have it program the software and give me an executable which is a run-able version that I can use immediately.
I know there is someone out there already using AI to program software like this because I have watched many videos on YouTube that show you. But there are too many tools now and I do not have the time to test them all and find the right one. So I need you to do it for me. You will find and choose the right one and them make the program as described.
