We are seeking an experienced AI Expert with expertise in working with open sourced foundational Language Model(s) (LLM) architectures and transforming them into specialised models. As an AI Expert, you will be responsible for training LLMs on narrow datasets to outperform general pretrained models in specific areas related to our project. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in collecting and preprocessing data for the specific use case.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our us to identify specific areas of focus and requirements for the specialised LLM models.
- Fine-tune and optimise pretrained LLM models for specific tasks and domains.
- Collect and preprocess data relevant to the specific use case, ensuring high quality and suitability for training the specialised LLM models.
- Implement trained specialised LLM models on narrow datasets, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
- Apply techniques such as transfer learning, domain adaptation, and data augmentation to enhance model performance.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and analysis of the specialised LLM models, identifying areas for improvement and refinement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of AI and NLP, and incorporate relevant techniques and methodologies into model development.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team, assisting with any AI-related challenges or questions that may arise.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in working with foundational Language Models (LLMs) and their transformation into specialised models.
- Strong knowledge of NLP, deep learning, and AI technologies, with a focus on LLM architectures.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with transfer learning, fine-tuning, and other techniques for model adaptation and optimisation.
- Experience in collecting and preprocessing data for specific use cases, ensuring data quality and suitability for model training.
- Experience in training and evaluating models on large-scale datasets, ensuring robustness and performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address challenges in model development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in a relevant field such as Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Understanding on opensource models like MosaicML, Falcon etc, and Frameworks like LandChain, Huggingface etc.
