Job Title: n8n & AI Expert for Business Automation Project (Airtable, Slack, WhatsApp, Google Drive)
Job Description:
I'm seeking a highly skilled and experienced n8n expert with a strong understanding of AI integration to build a comprehensive business automation system. This project involves connecting and automating workflows across multiple platforms, including Airtable, Slack, WhatsApp (including non-API workaround), Telegram, Google Drive, and Gmail. The goal is to create an "Intelligent Business Hub" that streamlines sales, marketing, customer service, inventory, and document management. Experience with at least one major LLM API (OpenAI, Cohere, Claude) or vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate) is essential.
Core Requirements:
Expert-Level n8n Proficiency: You must be extremely comfortable with n8n, including:
Creating complex workflows with multiple triggers, branches, and data transformations.
Using the HTTP Request node for custom API integrations.
Working with Webhooks (both sending and receiving).
Using the Code node (JavaScript) for custom logic and data manipulation.
Error handling and robust workflow design.
Airtable Expertise: You must be proficient with Airtable, including:
Creating and managing bases, tables, and views (Kanban, Calendar, etc.).
Understanding relationships between tables.
Using Airtable formulas.
Integrating Airtable with n8n.
API Integration: You must have experience integrating with the following APIs:
Slack
Telegram
Google Drive
Gmail
Facebook Business API (for Page Inbox messages)
Strongly Preferred: Experience with at least one major LLM API (OpenAI, Cohere, Claude) for tasks like text generation, embedding creation, and question answering. OR experience with a vector database (Pinecone, Weaviate) and its integration with an LLM.
WhatsApp Integration (Challenge): A key part of this project is integrating with a WhatsApp Business number that does not have the official Facebook Business API. You must be able to implement a reliable workaround using n8n webhooks and manual message forwarding (details will be provided). Experience with similar workarounds is a major plus.
AI Integration: This is a core component. You will be responsible for integrating three specialized AI agents (Admin, Staff, Customer) into the system. These agents will:
Be trained on existing documents and data.
Provide contextual assistance within Slack channels (responding to @mentions).
Assist with intelligent document routing and tagging.
Handle basic customer inquiries (via WhatsApp/Telegram).
Document Management Automation: You will build workflows to:
Automatically save files from Telegram, Facebook, and Slack to a "raw" folder in Google Drive.
Implement an AI-assisted (and initially human-reviewed) process for routing these files to the correct folders and tagging them in Airtable.
Inventory Management: Implement basic inventory tracking in Airtable, with n8n workflows to update stock levels based on sales and purchase orders.
Customer Service Integration: Create workflows to handle customer support inquiries via WhatsApp, Telegram, and email, creating support tickets in Airtable.
Clear Communication and Documentation: You must be able to clearly explain your approach, document your workflows, and provide ongoing support.
Problem-solving: Able to understand provided existing documents and data to train AI agent .
