AI Chatbot Developer for Local Business Operations

**Project Title:**
Developer needed to build advanced AI chatbot for local businesses (WhatsApp / Instagram / Facebook / SMS)

**Project Description:**
I am looking for a developer with experience in AI and automation to build an intelligent chatbot acting as a “24/7 virtual receptionist” for local businesses (restaurants, clinics, barbershops, etc.).

The goal is to create a solution that not only responds to messages, but also helps generate more customers, manage bookings, and improve conversion rates.

**Main Features:**

* Automatically respond to messages (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, and SMS)
* Integration with ChatGPT / OpenAI or similar AI
* Automatically detect customer language (English or Spanish) and reply in the same language
* Book appointments or reservations automatically
* Send automated appointment reminders (to reduce no-shows)
* Store customer information (leads)
* Capture key data (name, phone number, email)
* Answer frequently asked questions (hours, pricing, services)
* Provide sales-oriented responses (not just informational)

**Advanced Features (Preferred):**

* Automated follow-up system if the customer does not respond or book
* Ability to remember basic customer information (history or preferences if possible)
* Lead qualification (identify high-quality vs low-quality leads)
* Basic automatic quote generation or price ranges
* Customizable tone/personality depending on business type (formal, casual, sales-driven, etc.)

**Important Note:**
I am also interested in exploring whether it is possible to handle iPhone messages (iMessage), or alternative solutions if direct integration is not possible.

**Preferred Technologies (not required):**

* OpenAI API (ChatGPT)
* Make.com / Zapier
* ManyChat / GoHighLevel
* Twilio (for SMS)
* WhatsApp API and Facebook Messenger API integrations

**Requirements:**

* Previous experience building chatbots or automation systems
* Experience working with bilingual systems (English/Spanish)
* Provide examples of similar work
* Good communication

**Scope:**
This is the first project, but I am looking for a long-term collaboration if everything goes well.
