- A database for storing the information related to the certificates
- Anomaly detection features to identify fraudulent certificates

1. Admin will create certificate type in container in system (e.g BSC certificate from University A – 2015 design)
2. Admin will upload samples of authentic certificates with the same design and patterns into container
3. System will extract features of authentic certificates to create a defined pattern
4. System will store defined pattern as attribute of defined certificate type into database.
5. Verifier will upload a certificate to verify into system
6. System will extract features from certificate to verify and compare features to established pattern for authentic certificates
7. System will determine if certificate is authentic if patterns match and unauthentic if patterns don’t match.
8. If patterns match – system will include in patterns to continue increase in learning thereby making comparison more accurate over time

2. Location of logo on document
3. Certificate Heading - Font Types
4. Certificate Heading – Location on Certificate
5. Other font types on certificate
6. Name of Candidate – Location
