is simulation training for paramedics sufficient

Simulation and human subject training has been used for many years in ambulance services to teach the skill of intubation. There are now far less opportunities for paramedics to train in hospital theatres so many services have withdrawn the skill from clinical practice. The literature is to establish the evidence on simulation in paramedic training and are there any effectiveness outcomes. Key words are paramedic, simulation, skill aquisition, intubation
