I need an Editor with strong business and tech background
Budget: €18 – €36 EUR
TechIntelGlobal is a platform that tracks and analyses content on a global scale in order to identify trends and opportunities in tech ecosystems and insights for investment strategies.
We are currently in a pre-launch, MVP developing mode. Coming to market by the end of Q4 2021. We are based in Malaga, Spain.
The platform will also generate its own content.

Job Description: Curation and production of content.
The editor will ensure a steady flow of reliable, accurate and timely content for TechIntelGlobal, meeting daily and weekly deadlines for web posting, email dispatch and social media updates.
The editor will use the data and insights generated by the TechIntelGlobal platform to analyse trends and movements in the technology world.
A broad understanding of business, investment mechanisms and the technology world is a must.
Source, produce, and edit relevant and accurate content
Create new and interactive digital content
Manage the overall editorial schedule, quality check designs and help source imagery, ensure accuracy of content.
Maintain high standards of internal communications to ensure effective team work
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
Attend industry events. Some international travel may be required.
Produce engaging content through social media channels being an ambassador and content promoter
Curate weekly e-newsletters/editor's pick newsletters
As we are in the pre-launch phase, the editor is expected to work closely with the CEO and CTO, contributing with strategic insights and having a significant input in shaping the final product.
The job can be partially remote but a minimum presence of 1 or 2 days/week in the office (Malaga PTA) is TBD.
Minimum requirements:
Perfect command of the English language. Native English speaking is ideal.
At least 3 years in a similar position.
A good understanding of tech ecosystems, investment mechanisms, VC and PE roles in those ecosystems and a general understanding of financial and economic notions and business principles.
Leadership skills, as well as the ability to work in a team, manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Experience in online publishing, including using content management systems and image editing. Experience using mass mailing systems.
Ideally, the candidate will have to be based in the Malaga province, within reasonable driving distance to Malaga Technological Park.
