I need assistance writing an essay for my History class. I have a specific topic and thesis that I would like the essay to address: "When the Mississippi Ran Backwards: Based on the source, how did the New Madrid Earthquakes affect society during the period? You may discuss the environment, slavery, social structures, technology, relations with Native Americans, or politics." The essay should be between 4-6 pages in length with appropriate citations and sources.
