Writer of Seeking Alpha Articles
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
This is a significant opportunity to participate in a Seeking Alpha Marketplace business. It is suitable for someone who has a complete command of the English language, likes to write, knows at least a little about investing in stocks, and can write clearly and concisely.
I need a series of articles - 2 or 3 a week, each taking about 2 hours to write -- that describe the attractiveness of particular high-dividend stocks and ETFs that are identified by an Algo I've developed. The Algo is based on a mean reversion strategy -- in other words buy on weakness, sell on strength. I run this Algo all day long and it identifies two or three buy situations a week, more in down markets, less in up markets.
One of the most difficult and time-consuming aspects of writing investment articles for platforms like Seeking Alpha is deciding what to write about. In this case, the Algo takes care of that. I just need someone to explain why, based on stock price charts and historical patterns, a particular high-dividend stock is trading at an attractive price. I'll write one article and you can then follow the formula.
For the right person, there are other tasks related to this project that need to be taken care of -- creating and constantly improving a profile page or pages, monitoring subscriber comments and responding, and maintaining Google sheets of subscriber positions. None of this is particularly difficult. It is time-consuming. I'm happy to share in revenues should someone take on these tasks. Revenues of Marketplace contributors range from a few hundred dollars a month to a hundred thousand dollars a month or more. Services helping yield or income investors, such as this service, are particularly popular.
After an initial trial period, I'm flexible on compensation and anticipate doubling what we initially agree on.

Suitable candidate qualifications:
• If you've worked via Freelancer in the past, a client rating of 4.5 or above. No more than two "No feedback given."
• Available for at least a few hours each week east coast US time.
• If you respond, the first thing I'll try to figure out is if you've actually read this description. Most potential contractors don't. That won't work here. If you respond, please include at least one article you've written recently. If you don't, I'll assume you didn't read this and will ignore your indication of interest.
• Fluent in English. When I've considered others in the past for these writing assignments, ESL writers have indicated interest and then been offended when I tell them their English is not good enough. Let's avoid that. If you are not completely fluent please don't respond. I've hired ESL contractors for non-writing projects and had great results, it just isn't a good fit for this.
• Capable of consistent content output. Telling me you are too busy after you've agreed to take on an assignment will not work. I'm happy to hire more than one writer if one person is not capable of consistent output and meeting commitments. I need to know in advance though.
• No teams or companies please. I want to get to know, and work with, one individual.
And thank you.
