Writer Needed For Small Businesses (Gardening, HVAC, Roofers, etc.)
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Hey, I'm Tyler and I'm looking for a writer long-term to write online content for small businesses. This includes blog posts and service pages.
My budget is starting at $25 per hour. If on track, you'll receive a raise to $30 per hour after three months.
This role is currently for 6 hours per week, but can quickly grow to 20+ hours per week if desired.
What you would be providing:
• 10+ webpages or blog posts per month
• 700+ words each (higher for blog posts)
• Well-researched (~30 minutes), original, and accurate information
• Use of lists, tables, images, and graphics when necessary
• Internal linking
• Grammar, spelling, and flow check (Grammarly)
You'll be working with small businesses such as Roofers, HVAC, and more. These are mom and pop businesses that are looking to get more business online.
Use of AI is permitted (ChatGPT 4o), but you're expected to provide the highest quality content. This includes heavy editing for flow, helpfulness, and adding images/graphics.
For example, each blog post is expected to take around 3 hours.
While it's easy to pump out AI content, it does not work well with SEO and results may be impacted—resulting in lost clients. To continue to get raises and more hours, a human touch is necessary.
I'll provide you with instructions, training, and a project management board (Asana) so you can hit the ground running. Paid versions of ChatGPT and Canva are also provided to you.
All you need is to bring your best writing skills, a willingness to learn, and a passion for helping small businesses. Please provide the word "HVAC" in the title so I know your request isn't spam.
Bonuses if you have experience with WordPress, SEO, Copywriting, and/or Canva.
