Do you know politics? Are you good at advocating for a point or opinion with logic and fact-based arguments? Are you opinionated but can interact civilly and professionally with people who have other opinions?
Our community is looking for people to provide us with facts about the stories we're following and smart, insightful context and analysis for them as well.
You don't need any prior professional experience.
You DO need to be;
well informed
able to produce error-free, grammatically correct and concise writing
an effective communicator
able to maintain a professional rapport with other writers with varied opinions
We're not stuck up on pedigree here, just good content.
We provide the headlines at 8:30 pm EST and you need to provide your comements by 11:55 pm EST. The comments should include research-based facts and solid logic that advocate for a position, liberal or conservative.
This post is for 5 evenings of writing as a trial period. Each evening you will need to post at least 5 comments. Each comment is 150 words or less.
This is an excellent project for those looking to make a career in news reporting, journalism, politics, etc...or news-junkie pundits who want a big soapbox to share their insights.
