? About the role
As our UK content writer, you'll be joining a great team of talented writers for our UK site sleep-hero.co.uk. You will research and write the best content on the market for our UK readers.
You will also help develop the right strategy and tactics for our UK projects overall. You'll be willing to learn about the sleep industry as well as others (wellness and smart-home devices) in the future.
You will already know or will be willing to learn how to use SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console or Ahrefs. You'll also guide and assist other members of the team, assigning tasks such as image and video creation as well as improvements to the UX (user experience) and link-building.
✍️ Responsibilities
Research consumer products and write extremely high-quality content for our UK website
Develop a content strategy and monitor Google rankings
Analyze our industry, key players & competitors on the UK market
Craft outstanding monthly newsletter campaigns for our readers
Communicate with our partners and develop personal relationships via email and phone
Communicate with other members of our team, and collaborate on content ideas and projects
? Experience & Skills
Exceptional English writing skills is a must
At least 2+ years experience in content writing and ideally also SEO
Great communication skills
Ability to understand what other relevant sites and brands are doing well and develop a content strategy based on that
? Personality Type
Eager to learn, and excited about new content strategies and techniques
Ability to develop relationships with our brand partners
Adaptable - able to shift gears if something's not working, whilst identifying what works and doubling down on that
Independent - able to plan projects independently, assign tasks to others and manage projects
