Web Content Writer
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
As a Web Content Writer, you will be part of the company’s creative team and you will primarily be responsible for the production of publishable web content and material for our client's websites. The candidate should have excellent research, writing, rewriting, and reading comprehension skills. The qualified individual should also be able to meet quality standards and guidelines set by our marketing team and content development supervisor.
The ideal candidate will be an educator through their writing, a stylish writer, and a stickler for clarity and correctness at the total communication and individual sentence levels. They should be capable of extracting compelling themes from complex products and distilling them into messaging that is simplified yet never simplistic. They will favour clear thinking and clear language over grandiloquence, jargon, and cliché.
KEY DUTIES
Lead copywriting and scripting efforts across a variety of digital, social, and live-action projects
Examine and analyse briefs, research, and insights to write strategy-driven copy and scripts
Craft compelling copy that adapts brand voice and tone and upholds the creative vision for client partnerships
Distil complex business ideas into clear, simple language that resonates with audiences and consumers

Knowledge of the cannabis industry
Creative leader with a proven ability to write and deliver compelling copy and unique creative concepts
