You will take charge of ongoing, part-time research that tracks and analyses the political and economic relationship between India and the United States. This assignment is fully online and open only to Indian and American nationals.
Scope of work
Your core mission is to collect reliable data, interpret it, and turn it into concise insight that helps my team understand shifts in India-US international relations. Expect to monitor official policy releases, speeches, trade figures, investment flows, security dialogues, and relevant press coverage, then distil what matters into clear, actionable briefs. Because the focus is strictly international relations, broader market-trend or domestic-only topics fall outside the remit unless they directly influence the bilateral dynamic.
Daily rhythm
• Source new information from government portals, think-tank publications, multilateral bodies, and credible media.
• Organise findings into spreadsheets or databases that make cross-checking easy.
• Draft short analytical notes highlighting key implications for business and policy.
• Coordinate with our internal economists so your qualitative insights line up with their quantitative models; solid communication and teamwork are essential.
What matters to me
A background in international relations or a closely allied field, demonstrated skill in data collection and analysis, and the ability to jump into an existing project without a learning lag. Physical stamina is important because the workflow occasionally demands rapid turnarounds after late-breaking developments.

1. A weekly summary brief (≈1,000–1,500 words) submitted every Friday, covering headline developments and your assessment of likely short-term impacts.
2. An updated source log and data sheet delivered alongside the brief, formatted for easy audit.
3. Availability for a 30-minute virtual check-in once a week to align on priorities.
