Tech & Gadget Content Writer
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m building out a new editorial section focused on the latest technology and gadgets and need a reliable content writer to keep readers coming back for more. Your task is to turn complex specs and industry news into engaging, easy-to-digest articles that speak to everyday consumers as well as tech enthusiasts.
What I need
• Fresh, original content writing (800–1,000 words per piece) covering smartphones, wearables, smart-home devices, and emerging innovations.
• Clear structure: punchy intro, scannable sub-heads, concise conclusions, and a takeaway or call-to-action.
• SEO-ready copy: natural keyword integration, compelling H1/H2 tags, and a meta description.
• Tone that balances authority with approachability—think friendly expert rather than technical manual.
Scope
I’d like to start with three trial articles. If the fit is right, we’ll move on to a weekly schedule and explore deeper features, comparison guides, and buyer’s round-ups.
Requirements
• Proven experience in content writing for technology and gadgets.
• Ability to research quickly and fact-check data points.
• 100 % original work—no AI dumps or recycled press releases.
• Comfort working with Google Docs (or similar) and basic image sourcing for illustrative screenshots.
Send over two or three links to published tech pieces you’ve written, a short note on your approach to structuring an article, and your estimated turnaround time for the initial batch.
I look forward to reading your samples and kicking off this collaboration soon!
