Choose an exhibition and evaluate the works on view through one or more of the theoretical
frameworks discussed in class, while paying close attention to the works’ formal aspects. As this
is an exhibition review, pay close attention to how the artworks displayed and what the modes of
presentation suggest about the works themselves. Papers will be judged on how you synthesize
your original observations about the artworks with the critical texts that we have read. Please
refer to at least one reading in the paper.
The paper should be 5 pages, double-spaced and 12-point font, and formatted according to the
Chicago Manual of Style.
