Seeking US-based Editor for Non-Fiction

I am looking for a talented, English-speaking editor, preferably from the USA, who can help refine my non-fiction account of my personal journey through central Africa during the mid-1990s.

This story chronicles my experiences as an aviator getting caught up in monumental world events, and ultimately returning home a changed person. It's a tale of adventure, adversity, and resilience.

The book, already compiled into approximately 100,000 words, requires an editor who can:

- Enhance its emotional and heartfelt tone.
- Improve the descriptive details to add depth and colour to my predominantly 'black and white' writing style.
- Maintain the accuracy of historical events throughout the narrative.

Your ideal qualifications would include personal connections to publishers, or proven experience with KDP or similar platforms. Experience in editing aviation-related content or non-fiction narratives about Africa would be a significant advantage.
