Script Writer

We are searching for a passionate Script writer to join and support our team. As a Script Writer, you will write scripts ranging from 6 - 15 minute videos. Videos will aim to educate and motivate viewers to follow a healthy lifestyle in order to reach their weight loss and other health-related goals.

Responsibilities:
- Write and edit engaging, well-researched scripts
- Repurpose blog posts into video scripts, as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project kick-offs, check-ins, internal handoffs, and final deliveries
- Provide any other support to ensure content meets the channel’s high standards of professionalism, consistency, authenticity, and reliability

Qualifications:
- Excellent at meeting deadlines and communication
- Relevant experience as a scriptwriter and/or writer
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Open to feedback and comfortable making revisions
- Ability to match tone and POV for YouTube creator
- Have an understanding of SEO and digital marketing techniques
- Advanced knowledge in research studies and citing references
- Advanced knowledge in YouTube script writing
- Intermediate knowledge in food, health, wellness, and fitness
- Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite and Slack
- A passion for a healthy lifestyle a plus
